1. Established
In 1997, Jingjiang Yatai Marine Materials Co., LTD. was founded. At the beginning of the company's establishment, it mainly acted as the agent of "Gerflor" flooring which is the floor covering leader of France. Yatai has been became the chief agent of "Gerflor" flooring in China. However, due to the long circulation time and high market price of foreign materials, the development of marine interior decoration industry in China is restricted. Of that time, there is no any domestic Marine floor products in the market, there is no any successful cases for reference, Mr. Du Linpei who is president of Yatai was decided out of difficulties, combined the domestic top scientific research institutes, have taken the lead in developing high-performance rubber floor, as a main draftsman, in 2002 established the first domestic Marine rubber flame retardant CB industry standard of the floor. The following year, Jiangsu Sanned Rubber & Plastic Products co., Ltd. was established, began to mass production of various types of rubber floor, PVC floor, thus formally announced the enterprise into the domestic Marine floor market!
2. High-speed Growth
With the good chance of the ship industrial in world, the world shipbuilding center has been moving eastward, and the China’ s shipbuilding industry has ushered in a good development opportunity. As a general contracting company of ship interior decoration, Yatai is committed to providing client with turnkey project of ship interior decoration and expanding the derivative industry of ship interior decoration. In 2007, Yatai's first 82000DWT bulk cargo marine furniture was officially shipped as a whole, marking the company's comprehensive entry into the ship furniture industry. In the next year, Jiangsu Yatai Marine Engineering Co., LT D was established, marine & industrial ventilation accessories products entered the market.

In 2009, the soft decoration "safe room" created f or the government used, marking Yatai entered the fast track of diversified development.
